and are bags allowed?

Gates open at 11am. Get there early as the pre-match build up starts at the stadium in the morning. Remember there will be 80,000+ fans travelling to the final so the earlier you get there the better.

I've just seen this by chance, a couple of waking hours before setting out, and I do think this is a zany ruling.

People are travelling on public transport, cross country, possibly with kids.

Of course people will need bags of some kind, even if it's just to hold stuff needed for the journey.

In the admission rules referred to on the ticket (on the RFU website) it mentions nothing about bags, nor was this mentioned in the mailing.

We won't be bringing a bag now, but it adds inconvenience for us, and makes the travel that little bit more unpleasant.

I do hope that a jobsworth on the door isn't going to ruin the day for lots of people who haven't seen this ruling.
